Davis & Ritter CPAs, LLC began its operations in April 1984 under the
direction of its two senior partners who recognized that their
experience and knowledge could be beneficial to the public and private
sector. The firm, over the last several years, has provided services to
nonprofit organizations and private sector clients. The firm has
extensive hands-on management experience gained through working with
nonprofit and private sector organizations while participating as a
part of the senior management team. The firm provides professional
services to these organizations through three areas as follows:

Firm Overview
Davis & Ritter is a Maryland partnership formed for the purpose
of offering Management Consulting, Financial Services, and Public
Accountancy. The partners of the firm are members of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
The firm consists of a highly competent and professional management
staff with varied backgrounds and technical expertise in management
analysis, computer services, including implementation and training,
data reporting & analysis, and in managing accounting departments,
personnel offices, administrative offices and businesses, in general.
Also, the firm has a pool of consultants with varying expertise from
which it can draw to increase its resources. This experience has
enabled Davis & Ritter to perform services for a wide range of
clients.
The firm has relationships with several of the large multinational
management and accounting firms who have referred clients, worked jointly with Davis & Ritter, and subcontracted work to the firm. In
addition, the firm relies on its ability to attract clients by direct
contact, referrals, and advertising.
8 (a) Certification
In 1988, the firm was certified for participation in the Small
Business Administration's 8(a) Program. The program is designed to
promote equal access to business opportunities for socially and
economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs.
