Property Tax Credit
A property tax credit is available to all residential homeowners in Maryland whose gross household income is less than $60,000 and whose net assets do not exceed $200,000. (This figure does not include the value of your home, nor the value of your retirement plans.) If you meet these requirements, you may be eligible for this tax credit. You have until September 1st to submit an application to the State Department of Assessments and Taxation.
